LITTLE PAPER WEED PLANT

everybody wants a little paper weed plant!

Individual custom pieces part of an edition of 5. Only 3 pieces will be available, with 5 created in total. (2 pieces family and friends)

These sculptures were made by screen printing the leaf image onto hand torn, 100% cotton Rives BFK printmaking paper. I hand cut each leaf with about an 1/8” of a border from the edge of the design. Each leaf is attached to the wire stems by a drop of superglue and clear packing tape. The wire is wrapped into the threads of the rebar so that one may adjust the leaves up and down the rebar spine by rotating the wire. The rebar spine is secured into the terra cotta pot by a foam block and a plastic cap.

The plant stands approximately 12” high and 5” wide. 

Each buyer will receive a one of a kind piece, and you don't even have to water it!
